From your final clearance in school to checking your Senate List, completing online registration and finally preparing your camp documents, here are the 10 major stages of NYSC mobilization you should know.

The 10 NYSC Mobilization Stages You Should Know
1. Complete Your Final Clearance
Your NYSC journey typically starts with your final clearance at your graduating institution.
The exact clearance procedure is not the same for every school. Your institution may have its own requirements, offices and processes that you must complete before you can be mobilized.

Important: Do not assume another institution's procedure will be the same as yours.
2. Get Your Statement of Result or Certificate
After completing your final clearance, the next important document is your Statement of Result or Certificate.
You will need this document for registration at the NYSC orientation camp.
The timing differs from one institution to another. Some schools may issue certificates around the period when the orientation camp is about to begin, while others may follow a different schedule.
So, stay in contact with your school regarding when your document will be available.
3. Complete Your School's NYSC Mobilization Process

6. Register on the NYSC Portal
Once your name is successfully reflected on the Senate List, the next major step is NYSC online registration.
The registration window is usually open for only a few days, so PCMs need to pay attention to the official registration schedule.
For locally trained graduates, registration is done based on the information submitted through the institution's mobilization process.
Foreign-trained graduates are treated differently and do not depend on the Senate List in the same way.
The original guidance states that the online registration process for locally trained graduates can only be completed at an accredited cybercafé, while foreign-trained graduates can register at any cybercafé worldwide.
During registration, PCMs should carefully provide their details and follow the instructions on the NYSC portal.
7. Print Your NYSC Green Card
Online registration is not the end of the process.
After registration, you will wait for your NYSC call-up number, which may become available within one to two days.
Once the call-up number is available on your dashboard, you can proceed to print your NYSC Green Card.
Your Green Card is an important document to keep safely as you continue preparing for camp.
8. Foreign-Trained Graduates: Complete Physical Verification
If you completed your education outside Nigeria, there is an additional stage you need to prepare for.
Foreign-trained graduates undergo physical verification to authenticate the documents submitted during NYSC online registration.
During registration, eligible foreign-trained PCMs will be asked to select a preferred verification venue from the available options.
The date for the physical verification will be communicated through the PCM's NYSC dashboard and email.

After the registration process, PCMs eventually get to one of the most anticipated stages: the NYSC Call-Up Letter.
The call-up letter is usually made available a few days before the commencement of the orientation course.

Your date of resumption
